The objective of this whole school project was to create awareness on reducing carbon footprint which can be achieved by implementing the three R’s - reduce, reuse and recycle in our daily life – all which help to cut down on the amount of waste that goes to the landfill and can most importantly  conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy. This project was celebrated as an annual event during Summer 2019 which had 400 Families taking part and witnessing an exclusive Art Gallery, Skits, Factual Presentations and various Performances where children also demonstrated the need to preserve Wildlife, Water bodies and Nature etc., Pallikkoodam continues to implement this objective by incorporating this theme in our curriculum and by adopting environment friendly practices within and beyond our campus and also expect to create a ripple effect which can educate and impact a larger community of people towards Nature Conservation.
